API Gap Year offers comprehensive semester- and year-long gap programs for recent high school graduates at John Cabot University (JCU) in Rome, Italy. JCU is an independent, four-year, U.S.-accredited liberal arts university. Gap students are able to enroll in a variety of courses taught in English. Students are also able to brush up on Italian language skills, experience the local culture, participate in volunteer opportunities or an internship placement, and earn college creditall while living and learning in an exciting, enriching, safe, and secure setting within the Eternal City! Students are housed either in shared apartments or host families. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a transcript from John Cabot University.
