Arts In Action Summer Camp 2025

Arts in Action VAP’s Fine Art Summer Camp for children ages 5 & up takes place at our beautiful sunny studio in the Upper West Side. We will focus on teaching our young artsits to create their own works of art inspired by the masters. Find out more! Each 2-week session includes weekly trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art where we will discuss, sketch and be inspired by master paintings and sculptures! Back in the studio we will create our own works of art while learning the skills that working artists use in their own fine art. Campers will learn age appropriate fine art skills and techniques including drawing from observation, color theory, and more! Our campers will learn to use a veriety of two, and three demntional materials. We will explore Plainaire (outdoor) studies in Central, or Riverside park. Most importantly, our young artist will HAVE FUN while engaging in the art process
