Babson Summer Study is a four-week online program for rising high school juniors and seniors to develop as entrepreneurial leaders. You will cultivate core career skills and a sharp entrepreneurial mindset for overcoming challenges in any organization —all while earning college credits. Here’s your chance to develop your skills as a passionate, self-motivated entrepreneur. Babson Entrepreneurial Development Experience is for rising high school juniors and seniors. Babson provides a month long, residential, academic credit bearing experience for the current or aspiring entrepreneur who wants to create innovative, real-world solutions to economic, social, and environmental issues through the lens of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action. During the summer students will work together on new venture ideas to discover how to develop and grow new ventures through lessons of market research, feasibility analysis, and other business concepts while identifying the ways in which their businesses fit into the greater world picture. If you’re searching for the right business idea, this program will help you to identify opportunities and act on them. If you already have an idea you’re ready to grow, this is the program to help make it happen. In the classroom you will develop your problem solving skills while working in a hands-on team environment. You will explore and approach social, economic and environmental problems in the context of building new ventures as solutions. You will learn how to grow your commercial or social venture, and develop tools and resources for your business. Through lectures and site visits, you’ll be inspired by innovative business leaders and real-world examples, and you’ll work in groups to develop solutions and pitch your action plans. You will interact with corporate and nonprofit leaders as you share your entrepreneurial plans. Past corporate visitors include Campbell Soup Company, Verizon Wireless, Target Corporations, Best Buy and Bain Capital. Time outside of class will allow you to explore our picturesque campus and amenities offered throughout.  Students may access our campus and athletic centers as well study and outdoor spaces.  Students can explore Wellesley Center and its many offerings of shops and restaraunts.  With Boston within a short drive, you can expolore what the city and surrounding communities have to offer through many off campus outings offered throughout the program.  We attend movie nights in the city, Red Sox games, shops and restaraunts, and much more! *Limited partial scholarships are available for high-quality students who demonstrate financial need.
