Several majors are available within the Bachelor of Music (BM) degree: Instrumental Performance, Keyboard Performance, Vocal Performance, Music Therapy, Music Theatre, Composition, Theory, and History and Literature. All music theatre graduates are signed with agents. The Bachelor of Music Education (BME) degree embraces a comprehensive yet practical curriculum of choral and instrumental instruction to prepare undergraduates for licensure in music for grades pre-kindergarten 12. In addition to training in educational theory, students study privately with an applied faculty member in his/her vocal or instrumental concentration, participate in ensembles, and present an abbreviated senior recital. The Conservatory of Music has a 100% placement rate for music therapy and music education students. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music degree is for students you have a strong interest in music but do not wish to pursue a performing, therapy, or teaching career. This degree includes private lessons, ensemble participation, and other classes in music.
