Beta Bowl is the #1 (Forbes, Yahoo Finance, and Business Insider featured) entrepreneurial enrichment program for motivated teens and adolescents, responsible for producing hundreds of young entrepreneurs, a Peter Thiel Fellow, and millions of dollars in scholarship recipients and business awards.
Our virtual educational enrichment programs take teens through the process of building a business, from idea inception to ready to beta launch. Students come out with concrete deliverables, an impressive resume booster, and a proven college application differentiator. Students also develop a robust business acumen and a host of valuable skills that will help them in their personal, educational, and professional futures, as well as equip them with the confidence to pursue and tackle new challenges.
Beta Bowl offers both group and 1-on-1 virtual entrepreneurship programs for teens all over the country (international students are welcome, too). In addition to the skills to build a business, students also come away with a great talking point for future college application essays and internship or job interviews.

We typically offer three types of programs:
The programs include a comprehensive student portal full of 8 to 12+ modules (package-dependent), bite-sized video lessons, step-by-step tutorials, templates, resources, assignments to complete and submit each business-building task, live startup mentor calls for more in-depth learning, discussion, example implementation and Q&A, and 24-hour access to the Beta Bowl team for individual support outside of those calls (via both email and text).
Students don’t need any prior business experience, prerequisite courses, advanced math or finance knowledge, or even a specific business idea coming in to participate and excel. Our programs have been featured in numerous national publications, everywhere from Forbes to Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, Potential Magazine, Raising Teens, and many more.
Furthermore, over a dozen of our former students have been featured for their entrepreneurial accomplishments in over 200+ national media publications and channels (including Forbes, Yahoo Finance, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Business Insider, NY Wire, The Chicago Journal, NY Weekly, VoyageNY, The San Francisco Post, The California Herald, LA Wire, and many more!).The time commitment for our programs ranges by the chosen package, but most programs will include live weekly startup mentor collaborative and interactive (screen share) calls (either 45-60 minutes for 1-on-1 programs or 75 to 90-minutes for group programs). Outside of the live startup mentor calls, students typically spend between 1.5 and 3 hours per week on their own, implementing what they’ve learned and utilizing the tools in the portal.
If interested, we’d suggest you enroll early, as our programs (especially our summer programs) tend to fill up early and sell out, and we do have LIMITED SPOTS available in both our group and 1-on-1 programs.
Nope, students don't need to have taken any business, finance, or entrepreneurship-related courses to enroll, participate in, and successfully complete Beta Bowl virtual entrepreneurship programs!
Good question! No, students do not need an idea coming in; however, it's completely fine if they already have one. For students who don't have a concrete idea coming in, that's no issue whatsoever, as we spend significant time in the early modules on idea exploration and validation, as well as providing hundreds of examples and suggestions inspired by former student projects, pursuits, and outcomes. We also do not assign students ideas, as we've built the program to foster their individual entrepreneurial endeavors, so while we guide them, they're in the driver's seat, able to make decisions based on their interests, research, logic, analytical thinking, and new discoveries. That said, students always have a startup mentor available for feedback, guidance, and assistance, so they're never alone, regardless of the program they choose.
Yes! We offer a variety of group and 1-on-1 programs, based on the time of year. You can find our available programs on our website, and if you have any questions, you can always reach out via email, send a text to the number on our website, or book a time on our calendar for a phone call. We typically offer group programs in the summer with live startup mentor calls both on one weekday evening and weekend afternoon. During the school year, we typically offer group programs with live startup mentor calls on weekends only (though this may change from time to time). Our 1-on-1 programs are completely customizable around the student's individual availability and preference, so those are commonly scheduled for weekday afternoons and evenings both in the summer and during the school year.
