Camp Sonshine Teen Programs 2024

Every teen wants a chance to live life with the freedom to make their own decisions. Our program provides the opportunity for teens to develop positive decision-making skills, build lasting connections, and be surrounded by positive role models. No week of camp is complete for our teens without our customized Overnighters! Teens enjoy our two-day trips to places like Busch Gardens, Ocean City NJ, and Kings Dominion complete with hotel accomodations supervised by our trained staff. Camp Sonshine Teen Adventure has won several Best Teen Camp awards in the Silver Spring area. The program is located just minutes from the main camp grounds and offers an exclusive teen feel, including tailored activities and trips. Aside from one day of doing activities on-grounds and going to the pool, our teens are sent all over the area to experience some of the most fun activities and experiences there are to offer. Each day is filled with opportunities for teens to make new friends, participate in fun activities, learn new skills, and hang out with counselors who care about them. Some of our incredible off-grounds trips include: awesome water parks like Splashdown and Great Waves in Virginia, roller skating and ice skating, and all-time Teen Adventure favorite Beaver Dam Swim Club, bowling and Laser Tag. If you sign up for a Teen Adventure Overnighter Week, be prepared for plenty of stories and incredible memories! Teens are spoiled with air conditioned buses, supervised hotel accommodations, and most importantly, amazing trips with their friends (both old and new!). Campers and counselors will do one activity on Thursday before sleeping at a hotel in the area. They will then wake up and do another activity all-day Friday before coming back to Camp on Friday night.
