Center School Summer Learning Enrichment Program 2024

Center Schools Summer Learning and Enrichment Program provides students in grades 1 through 6 with targeted instruction in literacy and mathematics to develop and maintain skills, practice effective learning strategies, and increase abilities in a fun-filled environment. In our interactive classrooms, emphasis is placed on language-based skills while math instruction is provided to enhance number sense and problem solving. Help your child realize their potential with our summer program! Center Schools Summer Learning and Enrichment Morning Program provides students in grades 1 through 6 with targeted instruction in literacy and mathematics to develop and maintain skills, practice effective learning strategies, and increase abilities in a welcoming and fun-filled environment. In our interactive classrooms, emphasis is placed on language-based skills including phonemic awareness and phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing while math instruction is provided to enhance number sense and problem solving. New this year is the addition of Wilson® Fundations® in grades 1-2 and Wilson® Just Words® in grades 3-6. These programs specifically support decoding and spelling proficiency. In Wilson® Fundations® , handwriting is also emphasized. Afternoons are for enrichment!! Each day, after lunch, from 12:30-3:30 students will have the opportunity to participate in planned activities revolving around the theme of the week. Themes vary from Fitness to STEM to Creative! Families can choose to sign up for AM only, PM only, or both!! A discount is offered to families that bundle all of the weeks together.
