Central College High School Percussion Camp 2024

The four-day Central College Percussion Camp, under the direction of Stan Dahl, is for high school percussionists (students entering 9th grade in the fall to graduating seniors) interested in immersing themselves in the world of instruments. All attendees at the Central College High School Instrumental Music Camp will explore, perform, and develop their skills and techniques in percussion (marimba, xylophone, vibes), Winds and Brass, and string instruments. Students will also receive hands-on training in music notation and sequencing programs of Finale and Garage Band. Residential campers enhance their experience through a variety of percussion related activities planned each evening. The Central College Percussion Camp culminates with campers performing an evening concert of percussion music in Historic Downtown Pella for Thursdays in Pella.
