Climb the Mountain is named from Speech and Debate expert Jim Hansons motivational speech calling on participants to achieve their very best. Climbing the Mountain is the apex of the effort to be successful in speech and debateat the highest levels possible and among as many participants as possible. Climb the Mountain Middle School Debate Camp- Leave with the materials, practice with experts, and knowledge of how to win. Learn to express yourself; learn to organize your thoughts; meet people interested in what you are interested in, learn about important subjects. — We offer programs that fit your needs with, and without, experience. Efficient schedule focused on preparing and practice! — This is an excellent camp for younger students who want to speak well, and discuss important issues achieved with step by step, supportive instruction. Additionally, Intermediate students who want to improve for success in competition, and advanced students who want to engage in challenging and supportive training and practice in argument and communication benefit as well. Middle Schoolers do Middle School 3 on 3 Parli Debate: Three students debate three students on a variety of middle school friendly current event topics (e.g. “The penny should be ended” and “Middle schoolers should not be allowed to have smart phones”).
