Dwight School, an internationally recognized IB World School, is committed to finding and igniting the spark of genius in every child pre-K – 12th grade. Our traditions have allowed us to become an American global school committed to deeply connecting students to the international communities they will inhabit for the rest of their lives. Dwight students learn to see connections across cultures and to succeed at the highest possible levels. They are encouraged, challenged, and supported by our highly talented faculty and administrative staff, a group imbued with a passionate commitment to helping every child succeed. While the majority of our students come from New York City, all members of our community embrace the Schools global mission. As the first school in the United States to offer the three International Baccalaureate (IB) programs Preschool-12, Dwight is an acknowledged leader in IB education. In part because of the IB, Dwight students are encouraged to dream, take intellectual risks, and build their leadership skills through action.
