The Learn About Forests program is a full-day nature immersion that introduces youth to the beauty and peace of nature. It is an intentional experience that brings 12 to 15 youth and young adults between the ages of 8 and 24 to a natural site for hands-on lessons with natural resource professionals, games, team-building, and stewardship. Eagle Eye strives to diversify the conservation movement by raising awareness of stewardship, advocacy and career opportunities in the environment. We offer free learning explorations in nature and connect underserved urban youth to mentors in the fields of natural resources and science. Eagle Eye is a regional leader developing and disseminating innovative experiential program models serving urban youth of color. We offer instruction and technical assistance to individuals and organizations in youth development, natural resource management, environmental education and green industry fields.
