Why not spend your gap year building critical language skills in the Middle East? Gap at CET Jordan is an Arabic intensive language program for students who have graduated high school. The program runs for Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. All students are placed into the appropriate levels of Modern Standard Arabic and Jordanian Dialect. You take intensive language classes, have weekly meetings with a language partner… you even uphold a full or partial language pledge. All that practice prepares you to take an official Oral Proficiency Interview at the end of the termperfect for adding to a résumé or school application. And by the time your first semester of college rolls around, you’ll have the knowledge and tools to test out of foreign language requirements or continue to thrive in Arabic classes.
