Our mission is to feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, seek justice for the homeless, and provide a sense of hope and opportunity to those in need. We serve a cafeteria-style lunch, Brown Bag Lunch program, Backpack Pantry Program, Sunday Supper, and social services initiatives. Weve also become food waste prevention advocates. Hunger, Homeless and Charitable Giving Program for Students (Grades 6-12) Students will enjoy a contextualized learning experience in a classroom without walls. You will feel really, really good about yourself. Noel, Soup Kitchen Volunteer Each weekday, rain or snow, an average 1,000 hungry and homeless New Yorkers receive a freshly cooked meal at the citys largest soup kitchen. Between 50 and 60 volunteers gather for a day of service, from 9:30am to 1:00pm, at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Our volunteers feed, provide social services and live music to food insecure adults and families who need your helping hand.
