Summer is the perfect time for students to catch up, get ahead, try a new language, or explore electives. A K12-powered online summer school program or course could be just what your child needs to start the next school year strong! Online summer school courses are offered for 6th–12th graders through K12 Private Academy and The Keystone School . Students can select one of three online course options: Credit Recovery Options Designed for students who didn’t pass a subject the first time, Keystone’s credit recovery courses use new approaches to teach unlearned concepts, letting students move past material they’ve already mastered. Most are ELL-supported. Browse the Keystone Recovery Course Catalog for all the offerings. Full Length Semester Courses Both K12 Private Academy and Keystone School offer a wide variety of teacher-supported courses with summer start dates. Look at each school’s course catalog to find the right course. Condensed Courses These are the same quality courses that K12 Private Academy offers during the school year, but each semester course has been condensed to four weeks (20 instructional days). Students are expected to commit 4–5 hours a day for each condensed summer course.
