Over the course of two weeks, scholars are introduced to software engineering principles and learn the same programming languages behind apps like Twitter and The New York Times. Kode with Klossy is for girls ages 13 – 18 who live within metro areas of selected cities . No previous experience necessary. The program focuses on hands-on learning through labs and a demo day. Scholars gain skills and proficiency in back-end web development, front-end web development, or mobile development. This is a no-cost program. Over 1,000 scholarships were awarded across 50 different coding camps throughout the nation. Kode with Klossy also works to find the best instructors, assistants, and camp leaders to ensure their scholars get the best possible education.
