Landmark College’s Transition to College program is for recent high school graduates preparing to enter college in the fall. The program is focused on preparing college-bound high school graduates – through practice and exposure – for their crucial first semester of college. Landmark College’s Transition to College Program helps students with learning differences prepare for the challenging transition from high school to college, and from home to residence hall. Landmark’s residential summer program is for high school graduates who are seeking new techniques for achieving success throughout their academic journey. (Admission to a college other than Landmark is required to participate.) Students are immersed in a living and learning experience that offers a real taste of college-level work and the challenges they will encounter as college freshmen. Students develop a clear understanding of their learning strengths and needs, while discovering various resources and self-advocacy aids that will assist them in the transition to college. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS In this program, students will: Note: For admission to this program, students must provide a letter of admission to a four-year college or university. A diagnosed learning disability is not required to participate in this program. Financial aid is available.
