Miami Country Day School is a college preparatory learning community committed to educating the whole child. Through the core values of honor, respect, wisdom and compassion, we prepare students to be lifelong learners. We inspire our children to develop their emotional and spiritual potentials. Miami Country Day School was founded in 1938 as a residential proprietary boarding school for boys through eighth grade and has evolved remarkably over the past 75 years. The School has become a coeducational, nonprofit, interdenominational school with approximately 1075 students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 representing approximately 32 countries. The schools first twelfth grade graduating class was in 1981. At Miami Country Day School we prepare children for college and for life by embracing four core values: honor, respect, wisdom and compassion. Students, faculty, and parents are encouraged to live by a set of core values and to act as models for action and behavior.
