
Founded in 1912, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is a nationally-ranked, two-year public college where students prepare for high-tech careers and begin their bachelor’s degrees. NWTC is one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System. In-person or online classes offered in eight-week sessions. 200 career fields. Day, evening, or weekend. At NWTC, choose from more than 70 one-year and two-year programs that cover all the skills, knowledge and tools required to start a new career. Many can be started–or even completed–on different campuses, in evenings, part-time, or online. The College has three campuses in Green Bay, Marinette, and Sturgeon Bay; five regional learning centers in Crivitz, Luxemburg, Niagara, Oconto Falls, and Shawano; and several additional sites. In addition, NWTC offers: Apprenticeships- Earn while you learn with on-the-job training from leading employers and related classes at NWTC. These are some of the most in-demand careers around. That’s why apprentices are paid while they go to college; Certificates– Enter a new field quickly, change specialties, or improve your skills in your current field. Certificates are groups of courses that offer specific sets of skills, tailored for industry needs by employers; and General Studies– Take courses in communication, math, science, and social studies for a degree program. Take courses for sophomore status at UW-Green Bay or UW-Oshkosh. Or prepare for college, earn a high school diploma or learn English (ELL). Plus, there are many student involvement opportunities.
