Oak Hill Animal Rescue’s mission is to show by example the simplest ways to make a difference in the lives of animals. Must be at least 16, or have a guardian’s consent or presence if under 16. Responsibilities of a volunteer include: Handling dogs – Knowledge of dog behavior and proper handling to ensure dogs are kept safe; Take dogs out for bathroom breaks; Make sure crates are clean; Fill water buckets each hour; Load and unload animals from the van into the crates; Tidy the office before we leave; In between duties you are able to play and love on the pups and kittens.
