By connecting people with wildlife, the Philadelphia Zoo creates joyful discovery and inspires action for animals and habitats. Cheetahs, hippos, giraffes and much more make the Zoo Philadelphia’s leading family attraction with over 1.35 million visitors last year. Ambassadors provide interpretation and support for the Zoo’s Conservation & Education Department. You would share the Zoo’s message about conservation and directly engage guests in activities that teach them that simple changes in their everyday Lives help save wildlife around the world. Through informal conversations you will interpret many of the daily activities that take place in the zoo. You will also help staff stations located throughout the zoo. Each station will have interactive activities relating to specific animals and their conservation.
