Ride On is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities through a unique combination of equine related therapy, recreation, and fun. Volunteers are vital to the program and without them we don’t ride! No previous experience with horses or disabilities is necessary – you will be taught everything you need to know. To show our volunteers how much we appreciate them, 50 hours of volunteer work you will earn a series of free riding lessons! The minimum age for volunteering in the arena with our riders is 14. Prospective volunteers between the ages of 12 and 14 are welcome and encouraged to volunteer in the barn with our horses. For more information about volunteer opportunities, visit our website!
