The Roxbury Latin Summer Institute (RLSI) is designed to engage boys and girls in a broad range of fun, hands-on electives on topics ranging from traditional academic subjects, to robotics, to non-academic pursuits. The RLSI day consists of several different activity periods throughout the morning and afternoon. The Institutes expert faculty includes Roxbury Latin teachers and scholars, as well as recent alumni. The Institute is a 4-day, full-day enrichment program, grades 5-7. Topics include Newtonian mechanics (motion, forces, momentum, and energy), the geometry of optics, and a study of wave properties, including sound and light waves. Connections will be made to real world applications whenever possible. This website uses cookies to ensure you get the best experience on our website.
