Syracuse University Summer College It Girls 2025

For more than 60 years, Syracuse University has been providing exceptional and transformative pre-college experiences to high school students from around the world. Students explore potential majors and pursue academic interests from the comfort of home – or from anywhere life takes them. Full and partial scholarships available! It Girls gives high school students the courage and tenacity they need to solve real problems. Students participating in the It Girls Summer College On Campus course will take part in a variety of workshops that introduce them to topics centered around careers that leverage information, data, and technology, including but not limited to: Web Design Project Management Human Centered Design Social Media Information Security Data Science/Analytics An essential piece of the course involves creating meaningful connections between participants, professionals, companies, and alumni who are committed to supporting underrepresented identities in the IT industry. Class activities will include a combination of collaborative team-based work and individual projects. Students leave the experience energized, driven, curious about information technology, and inspired to seek future opportunities in STEM.
