The Marin School attracts smart kids who want something different in their education.We honor each students unique learning style and act in accordance with an unshakeable belief in the potential of each and every student. Graduation requirements include study in literature and writing, history, science, mathematics, foreign language, and the visual and performing arts. Students personalize their educational experience at The Marin School by selecting from a wide range of academic elective courses. All students must also complete two years of physical education. The Marin School coursework is college-prep, UC approved, and provides a solid foundation for college and university work. WE ARE A SMALL SCHOOLBY DESIGN. Our small class size (9 on average) and low-student-to teacher ratio (8-to-1 average), naturally encourage more personalized teaching, experiential learning, innovative lessons and non-traditional, yet effective, learning opportunities.
