The Leadership Enrichment Program (LEP) is a two-week program for students entering 11th or 12th grades. Its focus is on understanding one’s personal, unique gifts and talents; learning about leadership styles; and developing traits and characteristics of leadership. Curriculum is developed and differentiated according to basic principles of gifted education, providing a unique opportunity for enrichment not ordinarily possible in regular classrooms. Find out more! Students will participate in a leadership seminar each morning. Third period is spent assisting a teacher in the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) class of their choice for students ages 10 to 15. The final period of each day will be spent in debriefing the day’s activities and working on special LEP activities. In the evenings, LEP participants will help counselors provide options for SEP students.
