Uva Summer Language Institute 2025

The Summer Language Institute at UVA offers eight-week courses in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. Students attend classes five days a week and up to seven and a half hours a day. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills are developed in a student-centered environment. Find out more! A wide range of students attend our SLI, from high school juniors/seniors to senior citizens. We welcome any student who is interested in beginning or furthering their language abilities. While our courses are designed for beginners, we are also able to accept students who qualify for level 2 for Arabic, Chinese, and Latin.
