Waring School’s mission is to create and sustain a community of lifelong learners who are working together for the individual and common good. Founded in 1972 by Philip and Jos_e Waring, the School offers interdisciplinary studies in Humanities; extensive music, art, and theatre options, challenging mathematics and science courses in state-of-the-art facilities, and a rich curriculum of French language and cultural exchange. Numerous student trips locally and abroad, as well as co-curricular offerings in service and leadership, provide opportunities for personal growth. Waring’s small size and multi-age groupings enable the School to create an empowering network of relationships within the community. A caring and individualistic approach to each student supports his or her personal learning style, while maintaining demanding academic standards.
