Sally Ride Science (SRS) Academy is a UC San Diego-affiliated provider of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) workshops for students entering the 3rd-12th grade.
The SRS academy is offered both in-person, on-campus at UC San Diego, as well as in recent years online, and enables students to choose from and explore a wide variety of STEAM-related niche topics and careers. For example, students will experience and probe the roles of space explorer, marine biologist, computer programmer and more as through hands-on projects.
Top-notch STEAM instructors lead the workshops, and they hail from a diversity of industries and disciplines to make STEAM careers more accessible to young girls.

- Tiny Houses

- Deep-Space Base Building
- Cognitive Psychology
Furthermore, students will also be eligible to earn 1.5 pre-college credits for each workshop, which can give them a significant and valuable head-start in their future educational and career-related STEAM pursuits.
