Free tutoring for approved SES (supplemental education students) kids! Whether it’s math, reading, or general tutoring, we can help you and your kid navigate the process! We believe that it is important to know a student’s present academic functioning level in reading and math. We assess every student’s basic skills for grades K 12 using the Basic Assessment Skills Inventory Test (BASI). Results from the standards-based pre-tests are used to develop an Individual Student Plan (ISP) for each child and to guide instruction. The plan includes a timeline for addressing and correcting the student’s weaknesses and skill gaps. Standards-based post-tests are used to measure progress. A summary of the results of the BASI and the ISP is shared with parents.
