College Specific is a college admissions consulting company that serves students, parents and schools throughout the United States. Our goal is simple: to guide families through the maze of college admissions. Meetings held in the freshman and sophomore years are designed to ensure that students are on track for college. We meet with students and parents throughout the freshmen and sophomore years to discuss academics and course planning, extracurricular activities and community service, standardized testing, and any questions or concerns about the college admissions process. We meet with students throughout the junior year, focusing primarily on academic and extracurricular advising, as well as specific college admissions preparation. Meeting topics include: college list building, college visit preparation, standardized testing, summer planning, and the college application process. Starting college applications and essays in the summer before the senior year helps seniors to get a head start on the college admissions process. We work with students through every stage of the process, reviewing every application and essay draft and ensuring that the student is well on track to submit college applications on time.
