George Washington University Pre College Summer Communication And Arts Program 2026

A full-day, rigorous, noncredit program for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors (ages 14-18), participants enroll in 2-week sessions that integrate lectures with guest speakers, experiential and applied activities. GW draws on its creative, intellectual and technological resources to provide arts, English, communications and writing courses in a variety of formats. On-campus and online courses are available for credit, while our noncredit offerings focus on experiential learning environments, connecting students with relevant institutions and experts in their respective fields. High school students in the Pre-College Program spend a summer in Washington, D.C., taking advantage of GW’s expertise in global development, international relations, public policy and administration, politics, diplomacy, history, biomedical engineering, museum studies and the arts. Top-tier faculty guide, inspire and empower students through immersive programs that connect academic experience with real-world practice.
