Write the World offers a diversity of student-focused writing resources, courses, competitions, and camps/programs to cultivate students’ writing skills for those ages 13 through 18. However, they offer dedicated College Essay Courses and Services that specifically guide students through the process of writing standout college essays, all the way from idea generation to delivering a compelling application winner, catering to both the Common App and any other relevant college application.
Write the World’s College Essay program removes the intimidation of the college essay and admissions process by turning the essay into short, brainstorming exercises that mushroom into a full draft and empower students to tell their story in an exciting, moving, and rewarding way. Write the World offers two primary college essay-focused services, one which is an online, on-demand, self-paced course, the other of which is a virtual, but one-on-one essay review and editing service.
Write the World’s Complete Your College Essay Course: This online, on-demand course is for 11th-12th graders, and is delivered virtually such that students can complete it at their convenience. The course helps students engage with dozens of writing prompts, videos, and resources to explore and reflect on their unique story and value-add. Students complete the course with a fully drafted, stand-out Personal Statement, as well as a comprehensive toolbox of enhanced writing skills for college and beyond.
Write the World’s College Essay Review Services: These individual essay editing and review services, also for 11th-12th graders, enable students to submit drafts of their Common App essay, supplemental essays, or scholarship essays to the Write the World team for review and personalized, multi-page feedback reports within 48 hours.
