The Pre-College Art Experience (PCAE) at Academy of Art University is a tuition-free, scholarship-eligible art and design education program for high school students to jump-start their art and design education while earning money towards their college degree.

Program benefits and structure:

  • Available on our campus in San Francisco or online year-round
  • Students can earn up to a $1,000 scholarship per passing course towards an undergrad degree at Academy of Art University
  • Collaborative environment with faculty members who are practicing artists, designers, authors, and entrepreneurs themselves

From animation to visual effects to screenwriting and much more, these PCAE programs cater to and cover a vast range of arts-related disciplines, from the visual arts to technology-enabled, performing arts, and more. Below is a list of the arts degree areas offered:
