Artsbridge Summer Fashion Design 2025

ArtsBridge Summer Fashion Design introduces students to the core concepts of fashion design. Through the creation of a mini collection, each student will develop the basic skills to create a mood board, illustrate their designs and explore fabric and color. Students will be introduced to 3D development through easy patternmaking and draping demonstrations that will allow them to understand the transformation from design sketch to runway garment. This program is designed to give students the creative tools to develop original work for a fashion design portfolio submission. This dual-track course introduces the student to the 2D and 3D concepts of fashion. Exploring the design process through research and illustration as well as garment development techniques, students will acquire basic skills to create original design work. Portfolio development is emphasized, preparing students for the rigorous admissions process to fashion schools and universities. Visit our website for more details!
