
This Monday through Friday camp is designed for string players in grades 4 – 9, with a minimum of 9 months playing experience. Students and their peers will receive personalized musical training along with engaging social activities. Find out more! The Conservatory of Music at Baldwin Wallace University has a long history of bringing middle school students to campus for focused music study through workshops and camps. Caring staff, a safe campus, outstanding music facilities and excellent food service combine to make each camper’s experience a positive one. A Typical Day at String Camp We keep campers busy throughout the day! While the daily schedule focuses on the development of a students musical skillset, it is also well-balanced with fun social activities! After drop-off between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., the day begins! Every schedule will be different, but a typical day might look like this: *Homeroom activity *Chamber group rehearsal *Lunch *Sectionals/Guided Practice/Special Session *Recreation *Homeroom activity Pick-up takes place between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. If a student is not picked up by 4:30 p.m., they will be transferred to After Camp Care where a fee will apply. After Camp Care runs from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. If you know your child will need After Camp Care, you can add that to your registration.
