Books For Africa was founded upon a singular mission: to end the book famine in Africa. BFA collects, sorts, and ships books, computers, tablets, and library enhancement materials to every country in Africa. If you are looking for a fun, satisfying volunteer experience, join us at Books For Africa’s St. Paul, Minnesota warehouse! Volunteers sort and pack books according to category and age level. No heavy lifting is involved. Tours and training from BFA staff are given at the start of your shift – if you miss orientation you may be asked to reschedule your volunteer shift. Please note that closed toe shoes are required, and all volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Visit our website for more information!
