The morning and afternoon camp sessions have different activities and are designed for students entering grades 6, 7, or 8 in the fall. Participants can expect a lot of excitement!

“Chem Camps,” a day camp program offered by Calvin’s department of chemistry and biochemistry, features demonstrations and hands-on experiments designed to teach introductory chemical concepts in a fun and entertaining manner. Chem Camps tackles complex topics such as acids and bases, fat analysis of foods, and metal reactivity in a fun and intellectually challenging manner. Students should be prepared to test, move, shake, drop, throw, challenge, and grow as a result of these Chem Camp activities!
