Cornish College of the Arts’ Extension Program at the School for Creative Arts (SCA) is Cornish’s pre-college summer program, though they also offer year-round studio classes, and other programs in partnership with the local community or affiliate corporations. While the classes are not for college credit, they do offer deep-dive intensives that cover all art disciplines and prepare students for higher education arts school, spanning the visual to the cultural and performing arts. The summer arts’ workshops take place at Cornish’s downtown Seattle, Washington campus and host classes led by some of the local area’s most celebrated, and well-known professional artists, as well as esteemed Cornish professors.
