Darien Academic Advisors is a full service educational consulting firm offering a personalized approach and competitive rates that works with applicants to college, MBA programs, boarding schools, and private day schools. DAA is headquartered in Connecticut, but works with students virtually around the globe.

We use our extensive knowledge of college admissions to guide students through it, find several good fit schools, have some fun along the way, and finish with a happy and confident student who is ready for all that college offers.
Pre-College: We also guide younger students through the boarding school and private day school admissions process, helping them to find schools at this stage of their educational path.
College: We enjoy working with a wide range of students, from Ivy League hopefuls to those who need academic support, as well as those with a special talent or interest, and all the great kids in between!
Graduate: Our MBA advisory practice works with young professionals and helps them get an edge in the competitive business school admissions process. We have unique expertise and thoroughly enjoy working with young professionals as they seek to improve their professional paths.

About the founder:

Kristin White, founder of Darien Academic Advisors, is also the Director of Secondary School Counseling at a K-8 independent school in Fairfield County, CT. Kristin has worked with students from all over the world, including 23 different countries, many states, and in her local area. She has worked with hundreds of students with successful placements at schools and colleges throughout the US.

Kristin is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the New England Association of College Admissions Counselors. Kristin regularly visits colleges and schools and attends professional development meetings.
