This immersive seven-day program takes place in St. Petersburg, Florida, providing students with the opportunity to collaborate with renowned faculty members and delve into marine biology, geology, and chemistry. Participants get involved in a range of activities, such as offshore netting, crab catch-and-release expeditions, and dolphin photography. On land, they explore local ecosystems, including the observation of shorebird foraging and the examination of microorganisms. The program prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility, offering scholarships based on financial need and only requiring a basic 150-yard swim test for enrollment.
