The University of Maryland’s ESTEEM/SER-Quest program seeks to attract bright high school students to the A. James Clark School of Engineering. Rising seniors who participate will create a research proposal, perform a literature review, and undertake an engineering research project, as well as learn about the college application process. They will also get the opportunity to interact with undergraduate and graduate students in engineering-related disciplines.
The Center for Minorities in Science and Engineering’s ESTEEM Research Mentoring Program (Engineering Science and Technology to Energize and Expand Young Minds) and Summer Engineering Research (SER)-Quest are rigorous 4-week research-focused programs.
