First School of Mathematics 2025

First School of Mathematics is an after-school and weekend enrichment program providing comprehensive math and science education for 1-12 students.

Our classes and tutoring prepare students to excel in math at school, get top scores on standardized tests (SAT-I and SAT-II) and be ready for college math and science courses. We help students develop a solid understanding of key concepts, gain practical problem-solving skills, enhance their capacity for independent learning, and master the SATs. At First School of Math each student has a personal tutoring plan, adjustable schedule of lessons, and individual pace of teaching.

After taking SAT prep courses at FSM typically about 25% of students get the score of 800 on SAT-I test and about 75% – score 750 or higher.

We strongly believe that every child can and will succeed given the right opportunity. First School of Mathematics employs professional tutors of the highest qualifications in order to give you that opportunity.

FSM offers courses throughout the entire academic year. Each grade levels gets a unique timeslot during the week/weekend.

At First School of Mathematics we take a well established and successful approach to education in mathematics and science. Designed as an after school and weekend enrichment program, FSM offers comprehensive tutoring to students of K through 12th grades. Our students take advanced level math classes in public and private schools, successfully pass SAT tests, and enroll in the top Colleges and Universities in the USA and abroad.

Our mission is to provide top quality mathematical tutoring and SAT preparation to the Boston area community. Our main objective is to fill in the gaps between different levels of requirements in Middle School, High School, and College.

Higher-level skills: We strive to develop higher-order thinking, reasoning capabilities, and problem solving skills. We teach how to learn and understand the material instead of memorizing it, how to see the logic behind a problem, how to feel comfortable with the solution. Another branch of our services is aimed at providing challenging environment to fast learners and gifted students.

Stretching outside the regular curriculum: Our materials incorporate problems and topics not covered in regular schools, problems requiring insight and ability to develop an idea. Even average students enjoy analyzing and discussing such problems.
