Interaction workshops offer a low risk environment for teens to:
As a professional actor, MTVs Ryan Kelley uses a lot of humor and is lively & engaging, and these skills he demonstrates and the program fosters will transcend every aspect of participants’ lives, education, interpersonal relationships, and future careers. Ryan incorporates basic improv and acting principles that help all teens come out of their shells! There are guided topics and the participants also help drive the conversation.
Inter-Acting was developed by a licensed clinical mental health counselor, and the program helps participants strengthen their social skills through real-life practice so that they feel more confident in their everyday lives.
In addition to Ryan Kelley’s group moderation, our clinical director provides regular, individual feedback throughout, including evidence-based progress reports, and one-on-one meetings with families and/or schools.
This online peer group can be helpful for homebound students, students with emotional disabilities, students with ADHD, students who are health impaired, and students in pre-intervention.
Our 50-minute sessions are offered in blocks of four, eight, or twelve, for between 8 and 12 students of similar age. In order to maintain a low-risk, low stress environment for our participants, we do not place students from the same school in the same class.
