In 2023, the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering will offer three engineering innovation programs: Explore Engineering Innovation (in-person or online), Biomedical Engineering Innovation (online), and Sustainable Energy Engineering (in-person).
Explore Engineering Innovation is a college-level course for ambitious high school students that includes civil, chemical, electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering tasks. In addition to the residential program in Baltimore, the course is offered in a number of commuter locations around the country.
Biomedical Engineering Innovation is a totally online course offered in the autumn, spring, and summer semesters that exposes high school students to modeling physiological systems, particularly the circulatory system and human efficiency. The Sustainable Energy Engineering curriculum will begin in 2023, and high school students will obtain foundational understanding in the subjects.
