The Lawrence Family JCC (out of La Jolla, San Diego, California) is hosting Camp Jaycee’s Tsofim Caravan Camp this summer, in addition to an array of other themed camps for kids, adolescents, and teens that provide immersive, fun, unique, themed opportunities for 2 to 6 week sessions.
These themed camps vary by age group and include everything from immersive entertainment camps (for teens interested in filmmaking, acting, and video production) to a full chef camp (in which teens learn how to run a restaurant and end up actually doing so, and profit sharing from that endeavor) to counselor-in-training camps and more. While these are fun-filled, adventurous programs, they also expose participating teens to new potential industries and career paths, so they can be a great opportunity for teens to explore a potential future area of passion they may want to continue in higher education or a post-graduation job.
Campers are encouraged to select a session that fits their schedule and personal interests. Whichever session they select, they should be prepared for plenty of games, sports, art, and water activities. After a wonderful two weeks, campers will surely walk away with new friendships, more knowledge, and invaluable experiences.
