
The Haverim division of the Marks JCH Brooklyn Jewish Summer Camps is our teen travel program (entering grades 7-9), which is a summer day camp providing a combination of trips to outdoor adventure courses, theme parks, water parks, and exploration of hands-on museums, science centers, as well as participation in Improv theater and creative arts.
From archaeology expeditions to boating excursions and exciting and unforgettable overnight trips provide our oldest campers a chance to explore around them. Some of the overnight experiences in the past have included:
The Marks JCH opened in 1927 as an anchor for the Brooklyn Jewish community. Since then, we have served more than four million individuals of all ages, religions and nationalities through our social service, health, educational, cultural and recreational programs.
Haverim campers spend most of their days exploring New York Area and its theme/water parks, outdoor adventure courses, museums, science centers, and creative art centers including multiple overnight trips such as Club Getaway. Experienced counselors supervise the groups, serving as positive role models and mentors to our teen campers.
