Nantucket Boys Girls Club 2025

Since 1945, the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club has been helping kids succeed through every walk of life. The Club means something different to every child who comes through our doors. Not just an afterschool program, we are a valuable resource; a helping hand, a place for organized athletics, a friend to talk to, a place to finish your homework, an opportunity to be creative, a place to seek guidance from a trusted mentor, and an overall safe place for our islands children. You can help in a variety of ways! Some ideas include reading a book with a child, helping a child do homework on the computer, coaching a sports team, teaching classes on painting, cooking, sewing, dancing or drama, tutoring kids who need help with homework, officiating a game, teaching a group of kids how to surf the Web safely, coaching cheerleading, running a pool, ping pong, or foosball tournament, leading a class on cultural diversity, and/or helping write or design the Club’s newsletters or advertisements.
