IBME, or Inward Bound Mindfulness Education, is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives and mental health of teens and parents. iBme’s retreats and programs help participants gain awareness, increase their self-esteem and compassion for themselves and others, and facilitate their engagement with the natural world. The teen-geared mindfulness retreats are hosted across the countries at retreat centers and in wilderness settings. Customized programs can also be set up for individual schools, community organizations, and nonprofits, as well as for adult professionals.
The teen mindfulness wilderness retreat includes meditation, mindfulness exercises, breathwork, physical activity, painting, improv, poetry, dancing, comedy, games, relationship-building, emotional exploration, yoga, and the building of meaningful interpersonal relationships among participants. This is a great opportunity for teens to free their minds, escape the stress and pressure of school, and regroup with a new and refreshing perspective.
