Spend four weeks at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine’s intense summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in the medical sector. You’ll get exposure to the fundamentals of medical training through practical experiences, simulations, and live demonstrations, which are modeled after genuine first-year Penn Med classes. In addition, you’ll experience life as a college student on Penn’s campus in University City, Philadelphia, PA. Experience dorm life and campus living, attend great hands-on sessions, lectures, and workshops, and make lifelong friends!

Penn Medicine’s cutting-edge, jaw-dropping classroom rooms are every medical student’s dream. Penn Medicine’s well regarded clinicians and teachers will teach you throughout the program. Students are frequently given the opportunity to witness a live procedure. This is a highlight, but it cannot be guaranteed. If a live operation is not feasible, a doctor will lead the students through a recorded surgery step by step, describing exactly what is being done at each interval.
