Plugged In provides students the opportunity to improve their music skills, explore everything from songwriting to production to the STEAM-related aspects of using technology to create music with coding, as well as how to put these skills towards a future education and career in the music industry.

Plugged In combines music education, philanthropy and diversity in a creative and collaborative environment where students prepare for a life of civic participation in an inclusive society.
Details on our classes include:
- Youth Rock Band Class: 3-6 students and 1 teacher, consisting of drums, guitar, bass, vocals, and can also include keyboards. Bands develop a set list and work as a group, all with guidance from our trained teaching staff; sets include original material and/or cover songs chosen by the students.
- The World’s Biggest Stage: Livestreaming 101: Teaches students what platforms are best for their preferred content, how to engage their audience, how to promote their content through social media, and more
- Private Music Lessons: Learn to play or improve your skills on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals, songwriting, electronic music production or digital audio production
- Music That Matters: Summer Day Camp: In person summer day camp that includes band class, songwriting, recording a song, music video, workshops, offsite events, and performance opportunities
- Intro to Digital Audio Production: 14-week project-oriented program teaching fundamental skills, techniques and tools to work with digital audio software
- Summer Band Class: For beginner, intermediate and advanced band classes. Students are grouped in bands based on age, skill level and preferred musical style. Bands choose songs and participate in Community Engage, when they select a charity beneficiary for a session ending concert
- Songwriting and Production: Students will learn the tools, techniques and fundamentals to write lyrics and music, as well as to bring their musical ideas to life, learning tools of sound design, engineering, and production
- Amped Up: Planning a Youth Music Festival: Students will produce their own music festival, with support from Plugged In’s teaching staff, from start to finish. They will learn everything they need to know to successfully stage a live show.
- Creating Music with Coding: Web-based STEAM class where students learn introductory computer programming and digital audio workstation skills to compose, mix and produce electronic music
- Peace Tracks: A Cross-Cultural, Collaborative, Digital Music and Video Project for Youth: With guidance from professional musicians, young people ages 14-18 will form bands with overseas counterparts to write and produce an original song and music videos that will be livestreamed in a culminating concert.
